Vignesh, aka Viggy, is bright and exciting prospect for the Trojans. This talented youngster has been a part of the U-15 national squad for Singapore.
Viggy, is a promising middle order batsman who has a very sound technique and a good temperament. He consistency and dedication in the UCI Challenge trophy has earned him a slot in the opening XI for the trojans this season. He has instantaneously grabbed on to the opportunity by some sterling performances in the 1st couple of Summer League games and will be invaluable to the trojan middle order. His tenacity to pick up quick singles and put the loose balls away makes him the perfect player for the job.His scores of 25 and 30 not out in the first couple of matches do justice to his focus and ability and offer an insight on how focused he is towards providing solidity to the middle order.
Vignesh is also a multi-talented Wicket-Keeper and a soft spoken yet determined and confident player. His elegant 79* against Westwood was a perfect example of his talent and poise.
