Trojan Cricket Club was founded in 1992 by Mr. Arvin Varma who is also the Club's advisor and since then it has been a part of the Trojan community. Since the formation of the club, there has been great progress in the development and spreading of cricket within the Trojan family. In 2002, the USC Cricket team participated in the Southern California Cricket Association (SCCA) league for the very first time and won it's division title the same year and won laurels for the school and kept the Trojan flag flying high.

Trojan Cricket Club, more commonly known as TCC, is open to all USC students, faculty, staff and alumni who want to learn and play this magnificent and thrilling game. The club branches out in 2 different arenas:

The Hard Ball League : This is the Professional Circuit for the Trojan Cricketers, USC participates in the Summer League from April - November every year playing 16 games( 40 overs ). This is organized by the Southern California Cricket Association which is a sub branch of the USA Cricket Association.

Our main aim is to spread the game of cricket within the Trojan community and beyond and we intend to make cricket an important event in the USC sports calendar. The Trojan Cricket Club enrolls more than 200 members every year and is one of the most popular clubs at USC. The club has players from various backgrounds and ethnicities including India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, England, New Zealand, Australia and even the local US population.
